Do you know you?

When is the time you finally know yourself?

Is it when you turn 30 and everything magically comes to place,or when you have your first achievement. Whatever that can be.Maybe the peak of self knowledge comes when you turn grey.

Wisdom comes with age.

Is wisdom what really means to know you,though?

Does one actually know oneself ,or is he merely an observer?

Recently,at a friendly gathering ,we came across a very challenging topic."Do you fully understand the ones you know?" and to topic of "Did you master knowing yourself first, to then know and understand others?"

At the time we laughed it off and moved on with what seemed more easy on the mind.

But being me , i pondered around the thought for quite sometime.So here i am asking you.

"Do you know you?"

Little are not the times, one ends up being surprised by his self.The strength or courage displayed at a difficult situation.The "no" or "yes" one uttered.A decision on starting something new.Maybe a language, or a conversation ,even a new route.This leap to the unknown.

All those things one is ,but still haven't had the chance to discover.

We categorize someone as a criminal based on the atrocity of his actions.But we don't easily put ourselves in their shoes.Having said that ,it does not mean that every bad action can be justified by mere experimentation on discovering the limits to the human character.

Aside from crimes that hide borderline sick and twisted minds ,other ones are simply a false decision one takes.

Now does one know he is a thieve until he steals?

No. It's the action that gives the reaction.

Thus ,as everything in life ,total self knowledge does not exists.

A pattern?

Of course!You can choose one and try your best fitting in.

As long as there are options ,there is a new attribute to you

All you have to do is choose
